"Hey there,
I would like to review the Highland Cartel 56 Streetboard.
First of all... why to buy this Streetboard? Like told in the other review, the Cartel 56 has the widest footplates on the market and the longest bar. That makes it perfect for big people like me (1,90m). It's much easier to handle for me, than other Streetboards like Warlord. My shoes doesn't overhang that much, cause of the big footplates and the standing position is better for huge people.
The quality of this board is just perfect without a spot. The whole package is really faultless. No scratches or indications for a little damage. You think that's normal? No, sadly it isn't! Friends of mine got scratched boards with a wavy bar and some srews were missing at a different shop.
I gave 4 stars for Appearance, cause some other boards are a little bit cooler designed for me. But I also like it, so 4 of 5 stars.
Last but not least I want to review the value and extremepie.com.
I'm from Germany and if you want to buy a Streetboard over here, you have to pay 200-280 Euro. Here at extremepie.com the board is 120Pound including Dimension sorftcore bindings! How cool is that? I didn't find any cheaper price.
Ok, I was a little bit afraid to order at an unknown shop (for me) in England but that was stupid. Emails are answered in minutes and the delivery took 3 days! Hey, do you believe that some orders inside of germany are slower? It's true!
All in all there is no other way, than rating it with full five stars.
Thank you very much for this board and special thanks to Loretta for answering all my nerving questions by email. ;-)" |

"Right, I'm gonna write this article with current streetboarders in mind - as opposed to anyone looking to go from another sport into streetboarding.
Basically, I'll go over the star ratings I gave the board. First up is Fit and Comfort. The board has the widest footplates on the market; most riders can fit almost their whole shoe onto the deck, with very little overhang. this means less footcramps, and more stable landings, so less bar breakages.
Next, appearance. The bottom graphic s another success from the True Skool designers based in London. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 is the top graphic is a lot less complex. but hey who cares - a graphic is a graphic, and its not ognna affect the ride.
The quality, as with all of highalnd's boards, is amazing. the top grade of wood available is used for the bars and plates, the trucks are the mercuries we all know and love, and the kingpins are no several generations along, with a newly designed needle bearing, so they'll last longer than ever.
The value here is brilliant. £120 get you a board, a set of bindings and the delivery is free. you won't find that kind of deal anywhere else in the country, or out of it, for that matter.
so to conclude, 5 stars not just for the new bpard, but for the deal here at extremepie!" |
