The separate easy-access avalanche compartment is clearly arranged and constitutes a great safety feature. You can reach your shovel blade, handle and probe at once. Despite the extra-long map compartment and the lateral compartments the FREERIDE GUIDE scores with its simple and clean design. The evenly distributed capacity-adjustment straps quickly make the 30 litre backpack as small as possible. The Munich-based crew finds inspiration for their new developments on exotic journeys to the best powder turns in the world. On their snowboard trips to locations like Uzbekistan or to the Arctic Circle they take their equipment to the limit and develop new ideas to optimise their products. The innovative FREERIDE backpack series with integrated LITESHIELD back protector has now been adapted for skiing and snowboarding and equipped with sophisticated functions and clever detail solutions. EVOC has combined long-standing experience in the development of backpacks with the harshest safety requirements of motorcycling.

FREERIDE SERIES Basic

EVOC uses a quadruple PU-coated Ripstop with a very high degree of abrasion resistance in all backpacks of the FREERIDE Series. The revolutionary 2 step zip system allows you to open the backpack as a top loader as well as on its entire length. This enables you to load it systematically and also access your equipment easily on tour. Additional features such as the foldaway attachments for skis and ice pick and the snowboard/snow-shoe attachment equipped with a new generation of quick-locking aluminium buckles turn the FREERIDE Series into stylish multi-functional backpacks. Naturally they also need a watertight, quick-access goggle compartment with fleece lining. The carrying system has been completely revised and is now adapted even more accurately to the individual torso lengths. The flexibility of the EPS protector allows the backpack to align perfectly with the contours of your back and hereby provides an excellent fit. The neck section is cut out further and padded with softer materials, for even more comfort. The zips are equipped with zipper ports made of Hyperlon and hangers with integrated reflector elements. Detail modifications such as Hyperlon applications, silicone prints and laser cuts round off the FREERIDE Series. The integrated back protector in all FREERIDE line backpacks is detachable and can be worn separately. The fully functional protector can simply be detached from the backpack and is perfectly suitable to be worn underneath a jacket. The LITESHIELD protector pad inside can easily be replaced anytime.
